As a student on academic probation, you should consider utilizing the following services, depending upon your unique situation.
- Academic Advisor. As a student on academic probation it is critical that you meet with your academic advisor regularly.
- University Center for Learning Assistance (UCLA). Stop by the UCLA in Stevenson Hall, Room 133, call 438-7100, or go online to learn more about the workshops, study groups, and success coaching provided by the center.
- Minority Student Academic Center (MSAC). Utilize the services provided by MSAC such as a quiet place to study, a supportive staff, and various types of academic support. Stop by MSAC at 210 W. Mulberry Street, visit the Web site, or contact them by phone at 438-3159 to learn more about the center and the services it provides.
- Student Counseling Services. Student Counseling Services provides assistance with finding a major as well as a full range of psychological services. For more information, visit the office in the Student Services Building, Room 320, the Web site, or call 438-3655.
- Career Center. Visit the Career Center once you’ve decided upon a major. Their staff can help you explore career options and assist you in building a resume to fit your career aspirations.
